Ashabuna

Currently in development

Writing practice that feels like talking to friends.

Ashabuna is a parent-supervised writing platform for children ages 8–12. Kids practice writing, spelling, and communication through guided conversations and collaborative prompts, while AI adapts activities to their abilities and helps parents understand their progress.

What Ashabuna offers

Write together

Children respond to friends, stories, questions, and collaborative challenges, making writing part of real communication rather than another worksheet.

Personalized practice

AI can identify recurring spelling and writing weaknesses and adapt future prompts and activities to provide targeted practice.

Parent supervised

Parents remain in control of groups, participation, and their child’s experience.

How it works

  1. Join a supervised group

Parents create or approve small groups of children who know each other.

  2. Receive meaningful prompts

Kids receive discussion questions, writing activities, story prompts, and collaborative challenges.

  3. Improve naturally

Ashabuna observes patterns in writing and helps provide more practice where each child needs it.

AI supports the writing. It doesn’t replace the conversation.

Ashabuna uses AI behind the scenes to generate and adapt writing activities, recognize learning patterns, and help parents understand progress.

The main experience is still children communicating and writing to one another.

For parents

Ashabuna is built for children, but it is run by their grown-ups. You decide which groups your child joins and whether they take part, and you can see their progress and where they could use more practice.
